Rules & Regulations
Date: Friday, November 7, 2008
Time: 10:41:00 AM
Ok guys. Here's the deal.
The OSG has dished out
alot of bans to
alot of IGs lately. We for one have not been lucky in terms of disciplinary issues. Before we were put under probation by the OSG, we enjoyed training on the nice school field twice a week on
Tuesdays and Thursdays. But because of certain mishaps with certain bus companies and certain disciplinary actions issued by the school, we have come down to training on both the school field and the koufu field.
So therefore, the committee will only repeat this for 1 last time. No more reminders or warnings will be given to the ruggers who continue to ignore or choose to ignore this warning.
As of the start of the new school term (which was 9 WEEKS AGO), EVERY Republic Polytechnic Rugby athlete will NOT be allowed to wear slippers in the school campus. PERMANENTLY. NO EXCEPTIONS.Yes, at first they said just the sports complex. Now, it's been brought over to the whole school campus. Apparently, it was a measure to reduce the level of sloppiness among the students in the student community.
Every rugger needs to know where they stand in this situation. One person gets caught, we all pay for it. So we need EVERY rugger to watch out for one another. Learn from our mistakes. Don't do them again. Those who do not have sandals or havaianas, please do get a pair. If you don't want to wear sandals or havaianas, then don't be stubborn and just wear shoes.
Furthermore, to those ruggers who still insist on wearing slippers or is simply too lazy to wear shoes, you're just showing to the rest how ignorant you are to the team and what we stand for. No amount of fines or punishment would be enough for you to change your ways. Unless you feel we are going overboard with this warning, it is a necessary step we have to make for the sake of the team.
This message was brought to you by the RP Rugby Committee of 2009.
till then,
cheerios.
Trainings
Dates: Monday, 10th November & Thursday, 13th November 2008
Time: 5 pm
Venue: School Koufu Field & School Sports Complex Field respectively
Attire: Whatever you wear fo rugby training. Extra underwear included guys. Don't forget.
In Addition: Like what we've discussed on thursday after the game against SAS, we need people to come down for trainings guys. There's no point in just going for matches but not trainings. Those who were singled-out by Coach, let that be the last time he's ever going to do such a thing. We need the numbers guys. And don't come with the mentality of going only for the training on thursday. I know the koufu field is whacked, but what game do you guys play? Mentality guys. This is rugby. Go hard or go HOME.
till then,
cheerios.
